Burns Crystal Decades of Experience
Burns Crystal has for the last two decades hand engraved quality crystal gifts for the retail trade, corporate and promotional markets.
The Burns Crystal range, appropriate for a gift, prize or special presentation, is elegantly packaged in either open fronted carton or silk lined box, designed to capitalise consumer display, whilst maximising retails sales.
Manufacturing Process
The Design for Engraving
After consultation with the customer regarding a design, our art studio then commences work, using either a postcard, photograph, logo or clients original artwork.
Preparing the Mask
The finished artwork is then transferred to a stencil, which is then glued onto the piece of crystal. The stencil has two surfaces, one of which is tissue paper.
Sandblasting the Crystal
The piece is then hand engraved in a sandblasting cabinet. The sand blasts away the tissue paper leaving a clear outline for engraving.
Finishing the Product
The crystal is then washed and carefully packaged in either individual cartons or silk lined boxes.
